Pattie's Story
Life
From 1974 to 1998 I had a variety of positions at AT&T including my last assignment as a Project Manager. The challenge was great, but quite frankly the 14 year commute in Lake/Cook County Illinois got to me. I left AT&T in October of 1998 with an "early retirement" offer. In the summer of 1998, my brother John (Class of 1971) suffered a fatal kayaking accident in the Rio Huallabamba Canyon in Peru. I on? 2 and 1/2 years later, we are very near to self-publishing. I work at home mostly full-time on this project. We are donating the proceeds to conservation efforts in Chile.
I currently live on Sand Lake with my 8 year old daughter and husband in Lindenhurst. They have been my saviors (along with hundreds of John's friends throughout the world) through this tragedy.
