Hi! I'm on Facebook and MySpace sometimes (my profiles are works in progress), but I have a friend who is connecting with many old classmates using this site, so here I am. I would have used the Timeline, because my story reads like one, but this seemed easier. I've been in Fort Myers, Florida teaching in the local district of Lee County for the past 12 years. A beautiful vacation, spring break spot to say the least. This could be why this is the longest I've ever lived anywhere since graduating. I have one son who is wonderfully smart and sweet. He is in the 3rd grade at the school where I teach. I've gone green so we bike to school instead of drive and we spend lots of time outdoors, swimming, and sharing time with friends. I live in a neighborhood with many of the teachers I work with so I have a wonderful community around me. I've been wondering where some of my classmates from GlenOak are and what they are doing. I would also like to connect with Kent State classmates, as well some Air Force buddies from Norton AFB and friends from overseas. After teaching in California with me awesome people, I took a job wth the Department of Defense Dependents Schools. My first assignment was in Fulda, Germany. What an adventure. I never did the backpacking Europe thing after graduation, but I more than made up for it in Fulda. After Fulda, I moved to Keflavik, Iceland and taught 2nd grade for a year.
