Patricia's Story
Life
After graduating from Trinity in '82, I attended LSU-Baton Rouge. Joined Chi O, and cheered on the Fighting Tigers. Graduated from LSU-Baton Rouge in '86, Married to David in '89, Graduated from LSU-New Orleans Nursing School around '91 and we moved back to David's hometown. My husband attended Tulane undergrad and then LSU Dental School in New Orleans,LA. We have four children (2 older daughters and 2 younger sons), (16 & 15 yo daughters), (13 & 9 yo sons)....I know, makes me feel REAL old. My daughters are beginning to look at colleges...YIKES!! Anyway, I decided to go BACK to graduate school at LSU in 1995. For these two years we actually moved back to Natchez, Miss. for two years while I commuted to Baton Rouge and my husband commuted to one of his dental offices in Ferriday, LA. I finished in 1997 with a Masters in Social Work (LCSW). I worked...Expand for more
for about 10 years in mental health nursing, and then about 5 years in counseling. I did all the local volunteer stuff...President of Junior League etc etc...but am retired from that now. I am currently working in administration as the director of a local outpatient imaging center. Mostly my life revolves around my kids...multiple sporting events...softball, baseball, soccer, cross country, track, football, tennis, basketball, school activities...you name it, we've probably done it! Who knows, we may run into you if your children play sports in Louisiana or anywhere in the South.
