Patricia's Story
Let's see since graduation? Well, I have two wonderful sons born in 1975 and 1976. I was divorced in 1984 and moved to Seattle Washington in 1992. Went to nursing school while on the west coast and became an RN. I enjoyed the weather there and enjoyed being someplace so different from where I grew up in Norfolk. After many years I began to miss being around my family more than once or twice a year on vacation. So, in 2007 I moved back to Virginia. I took a job with Sentara working on their electronic medical record and became a Clinical Analyst in IT. I absolutely love it. does not have to do the bending and lifting like being the bedside nurse. Plus I love technology!
I guess as we get older you think about what you wish you had done different. I wish I had stayed in touch with the people I went to high school with. To have those long term relationships would have been a treasure. I am not sure what happened to our small class, but thought this site might be a way to find out. Sadly, not many of my classmates are registered.
So many things had changed here, it was like coming back to a new place with old names attached to them. A little bit weird. Hoping to connect to others from my class.
