Patricia's Story
Life
Started a small software development and consulting firm called Mega-Data Services, Inc., in 1978, specializing in Unisys mainframes. In 1994, the focus shifted to Windows-based systems. Mega-Data is a Microsoft Certified Partner, and I am a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) and (former) Trainer (MCT). We have a software package for Junior ROTC programs on the market, called Cadet Records Manager, with over 850 total schools around the nation as customers. iami, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee, and numerous clients in the Caribbean and Latin America. The company is now quiet, as I have accepted a full-time intructor position at Florida International University.
School
School - I never seem to be too far away from it! I am working on my PhD in Computer & Information Sciences at Nova Southeastern University, while teaching full time at Florida International University in Miami (Information Technology courses). I also teach online university courses in Computer Science for Troy St. University in Ft. Benning, GA.
