Patricia's Story
Life
I am single again. I am a registered nurse. I have two children (son, 38 yrs old, and a daughter 35 yrs old.) I have a 12 yr old granddaughter and an 15 yr old grandson. I have lived in NJ for 19 yrs.
Workplace
After travelling all over the country and attending 7 different schools (my husband was in the Air Force), I finally graduated from UNLV School of Nursing in 1983. We moved to New Hampshire. cal care nurse at a trauma center in New Brunswick NJ for 18 yrs. I am also on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey State Nurses Association. I currently am a USW union negotiator for the nurses at our hospital. I love being an ICU nurse.
My favorite way to relax:
I like to go down to the river to walk or read a book. I love anything to do with the outdoors. My favorite evening activity is sitting on the back patio watching the river and all the critters we get in our yard (we live on the edge of the woods).
