Life
I'm now known as Trish Chrisman, and am a retired CRNA. (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist). Went to Grady Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, then worked at Grady and the VA Hospital for a few years. Wanted more, so went to Georgia Baptist Hospital School of Nurse Anesthesia. I still live in the Atlanta area, and have worked at a number of hospitals over the years. I retired after 45 years in Nursing and 39 years as a CRNA. I'm happily married to Bill Chrisman (32 years) and have a stepdaughter (44, who's like my own), and 4 grandchildren (The 3 girls are an adjuster, a registered nurse, and a free spirit, and my grandson is 18). I have a great grandson and a great granddaughter, and anotheron theway! What would surprise everyone about me now? That I'm no longer the painfully shy wallflower I once was!
Growing up I went to 9 schools...Expand for more
in 12 years (Daddy kept getting promoted and transferred) so it was difficult making friends--5 elementary schools, 2 junior high schools, 2 high schools! As a result I was painfully shy and it was difficult making friends. It's wonderful to have connected with people I knew in childhood, and am looking forward to knowing them better. I can happily say I now have more really good friends than I ever have, and am enjoying them in my retirement! Happily enjoyed 50 year reunions at two schools!
I sing alto 2 with Gwinnett Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.
I converted from Presbyterian to Catholic in 1993, and have been a choir member,cantor, soloist, lector and eucharistic minister. I now serve as a volunteer Tribunal Advocate, preparing and presenting requests for nullity of marriages before the Mtropolitan Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Atlanta.
