Patricia's Story
Life
Boy at this age where do you start. I know they don't expect to find a book on this site.
My roots are in Loudon County and I grew up in Eaton's Crossroads. I lived mostly in Tennessee but did spend a few years in Alabama at Redstone Arsenal with my first husband, the father of my children. Those would be my daughter, Christy and my son Greg. They are both married and have blessed me with 3 grandchildren, Megan, Zachary and Forrest. My father passed away in 1990 and my mother lived with me until her death in 2008. I have managed to somehow screw up a couple of marriages so I am currently single again. (argh) Not to worry, I am a strong advocate of blooming where you are planted. I was planted in Lenoir City for many years. I worked as a Cosmetologist for several years and was one of the first at Metz and Kerchner House of International Beauty when it was "the" place to get your hair done. I went into real estate from that and was married to the owner of Lawhorn Real Estate Enterprises in Lenoir City. My next career was at DENSO manufacturing of Tennessee for 9 yrs. I worked in the Electronics Plant as support staff for the design engineering department. I left there and went back into real estate in 2000. th Knoxville until the end of October 2007. I moved to Mt. Ridge Realty,LLC at the beginning of November. That lasted until April of 2008 when the owner decided he could not afford my salary.
I moved to The Real Estate Market for a short time and loved it but I am now on a team at Realty Executives doing great! udate: market slow so I retired my license in 12/09.
I am also an instructor for TREES (Tennessee Real Estate Education System) and teach the night pre-license and CNA classes for those who need the class hours to qualify for a real estate license. update: when the real estate market became so slow folks stopped taking classes to get a license so I no longer do this either.
My hobby is theater. I belong to a non-denominational theater group called The WordPlayers. I also sing and do some drama at church. I have performed at the Oak Ridge Playhouse and several other venues in the Knoxville area. My grandson Zack is currently rehearsing for a show at the Oak Ridge Playhouse. He is soooo tallented must run in the family.
I am a member of the Sweet and Sassy Southern Sistas red hat group which is a lot of fun. There is a lot of fun women in our group and we eat out and go on interesting day or weekend trips. It makes getting 50+ more fun.
2010 - started a job at Lexus of Knoxville in Fall of 2009. Love it.
