Patricia Sueltz:  

My parents moved to the SF Bay Area from Riverside in Fall, 1971, so I didn't get back to town much after I graduated from High School. I graduated from Occidental College in 1975, with a BA in Political Science. I won a Rockefeller Fellowship in Theology and studied theology and ethics at The School of Theology in Claremont, CA in 1976. After completing the Fellowship year, I went to work for Pacific Telephone as an Installation Foreman and worked into middle management in a couple of years. I married Steve Sueltz, my college sweetheart, in 1976; we've now been married over 33 years. After Steve graduated from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1979, we both joined IBM and moved to the east coast, where we lived in various places for 20 years (Upstate NY, Connecticut, Raleigh, North Carolina (twice), and the UK. We have two daughters: Lucia who is 28 and Kathleen who is 19 and a sophomore in college. Lucia married this past summer and after a three week honeymoon in Fiji(!), she started a masters program in social welfare. We moved back to California in 1999, when I joined Sun Microsystems to head up its Systems Software business followed by running the Services business.
