Patricia's Story

I would hope they remember me as a nice person who cares about other people. A temperate individual who thinks (in most cases) before I speak. Remember me having a sense of humor, my love for music, and my loyalty to my friends.I want them to remember me being an avid reader and having intellectual curiosity. I always wanted to be a lawyer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a non subject idea. As it turns out, they didn't know. I go to the internet, I read or write about it. Smoke in the girl's bathroom. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have money, food, and taxi fare to be able to deal with the day-to-day. I have many heroes, especially women who were politically active like Harriet Tubman. I have lived in Atlanta Ga.I thought it would be a better life. A fuller life. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is linda cohen, because she was one of my earliest childhood friends. CNN. That I didn't become a lawyer. love to see Ted Koppel again. He inspired my interest in the peoples of the world. never lived the campus life. I would be anywhere on earth doing what ever with the woman of my dreams. I don't know. My current age is 55. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely naive. I want to become a prolific writer. And a damn good one at that. My best friend would tell you I'm warm, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as aloof. No. My style is adrogynous. Putting potato chips and pickles on lunch plates in DC. I share my home with no one, which I find pleasurable. I won honorable mention in a nation wide poetry contest many years ago. I would have finished college. In 10 years, I hope to be alive. I'm going to get there by hook or crook. Her name is Patricia and we met at the age of 16. We both had a crazy sense of humor. I'm a lesbian. My first job was at Frankford Arsenal, where I got paid 1.25 an hour to type. What I remember most about it is The heat. Buildings then weren't air condtioned like they are today.. A Tom Thumb wedding I wrote and produced.
