Hello everyone who remembers me. I have a lot of great memories from high school and have often said that the class of 1977 closely resembled the on goings in the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Not every detail but there were a lot of things that were like the movie. My oldest daughter, Meghan, had a hard time believing there was a smoking area at school, my youngest daughter, Taylor, attends the old high school (it has long been the only junior high in town) and it was interesting to go back there for her 7th grade orientation this past fall. Meghan attended and graduated from Newark Memorial, she's looking forward to showing her sister around during her freshman orientation in just a little over a year from now. My husband, Garry, graduated from Kennedy High School in Fremont in 1976. We met in the fall of 1977 and have been together since spring of 1978. ...Expand for more
