Patricia's Story
Life
I married Robert Aaron on June 26, 1970. We moved to Albany, Georgia and stayed there until 1972. In January 1972 I started beauty college at the Academy of Hair Design in Big Spring, Texas. After graduating and getting my license I went to work for The Wig Palace where my bosses were Wanda Bailey and Peggy Cottongame.
I have two children and five grandchildren. In 1976 had a real bad accident and was unable to work for about two years. In 1978 we moved to Clifton, Texas where Robert went to LVN school. I worked up until 1980 as a Nurse Aide while Robert...Expand for more
went to school. We moved back to Big Spring a number of years later. In 1991 I went back to school after getting my GED in 1986 and began college. I graduated from Howard College with a gold sash around my neck showing that I was Phi Theta Kappa. I've worked in various other types of jobs and am currently attending Redlands Community College in El Reno, Oklahoma. My childrens names are Susan Ladyne Aaron Akin
and Robert Aaron, Jr. My grandchildrens names are Ashley Aaron, Kayla Aaron, Katlain Aaron, Zechariah Akin and Michael Akin. My favorite pet is a cat.
