Patrick's Story
Life
After graduating from SJSU and because of the recession in '91, I decided to move to AZ and give it a shot. I had dreams of being a big league umpire and had that actually came true for a short time during the umpire lockout and players strike of 1994-95. Met my wife out here and after living in sin for 5 years, finally got married in 1997. The twins came along a little over a year later and the rest has been a blur. Worked in city government for 15 years, got tired of the internal politics and for the past 5 years I have been working in Sales for IBM (now Lenovo). a teacher and the boys (Robby and Danny) are now in 4th grade. I still officiate three sports (football, basketball and baseball). I work at the collegiate level in both football and baseball. As you can tell, sports is still a passion. Officiating has also allowed me to travel and has taken me to Alaska (entire summer of 1992) and Hawaii (worked at Aloha Stadium 3 times, most recently October 2005).
Fast forward to 2008...Now working as a territory manager for DHL Express (the shipping company). Still living in Gilbert, AZ and have even run into a few classmates from Live Oak, right here in AZ! Shoot me an email through the site...I will write you back!
