My Job I broke into the music scene in 1971 and signed a recording contract with Paula Records from Shreveport, La. Although I did not have a hit record I did perform extensivly in La. as well as the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas. Shortly after that I returned to East Boston and played many local clubs in the Boston area. In 1979 I formed the Sha-Boom Band which I still have today. In 1983 I was the house band at Hampton Beach Casino and over the next several years performed with Southside Johnny,The Stompers, The Righteous Bros., Gene Pitney, and the man who inspired me most...... the legendary Roy Orbison. I've also shared the stage with many Rock n' Roll Hall of Famers and Grammy winners. In 1986 when the Boston Celtics won the championship I wrote and performed a song called "Celtic Pride" at City Hall Plaza to over 600,000 fans. It's a day I'll never forget. In 1993 I performed and hosted Congressman Joe Kennedy's wedding at his home. Over the next six years my band played at the Compound in Hyannisport and I became Joe Kennedy's entertainment director until his retirement in 1998. I continued to perform with many well known artists at City Hall Plaza and Oldies 103 for a number of years seeing many of my fellow classmates at many of the shows. Today,I am Executive Director of a non-profit organization that I formed in 1998 called F.A.M.E.(Friends Against Musical Exploitation, of Artists). My Board of Directors consist of such legends as, Mary Wilson, of the Supremes, The late Dennis Yost, of the Classics IV, the late Herb Reed, of the Platters, the late-Gene Hughes, of the Casinos.
