Patrick's Story
Life
After graduating from SHS I moved onto my college career at Pennsylvania College of Technology (PCT). I graduated from PCT in December 2005 with the Associates of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems - Networking and Technical Support. I am currently pursuing the Bachelor's of Science in Data Communications and Computer Networking, I will graduate again in December 2007. While at PCT I held several jobs, I was an english tutor in the tutoring center, worked at the Student Activities information desk, worked at the Student Help Desk, and at the Community Arts Center. In addition to all my odd jobs I was also involved in the Student Government Association, Residence Hall Association, and was a Resident Assistant/Senior RA for two years. Residence Life at PCT to help develop an online housing contract and revise the automated processes and procedures used throughout the department. A few months later I found myself in a position to accept a full time job at PCT with ITS doing Technical Support for Academic Computing. I accepted the job and held it until August 2007. I left PCT and moved to Myrtle Beach to work at Coastal Carolina University as a Systems Support Technician, in the office of Information Technology Services. My responsibilites were more focused on infrastructure security and telecomm installations and maintenance for the campus. Most recently I have accepted a position in the technology office at the Summit Public Schools.
School
High school years were fun, spent a lot of time in the theater and technology departments.
