Patrick's Story
I'm married and have four adult kids, two boys & a girl with fellow BHS '72 alum Zoe Kalkanis, and a step-daughter with my current wife.
I went to Cal Poly, Laney, and Cal, finally emerging with a Journalism degree from Cal in 1980. I had a hodge-podge of jobs and retired in 2013. My last 17 work years were in various IT jobs at Cal. and IT, Before that I was at Bechtel in finance writing & technical editing jobs. While in school I worked as a catalog photographer for an importer, along with stints in advertising at the Emporium & as a soda jerk at Edy's.
I lived in Berkeley most of my life. In my youth I also lived in Cordoba & Buenos Aires, Argentina; Redondo Beach; and San Luis Obispo. Then I stayed in Berkeley until we moved to Menlo Park in 2007 and Gualala in 2014,
