Patrick's Story
Life
After years of struggling with the burdens of life, I married Laura on April 29,2000. Since I wed my wife, my life has become richer in happiness. God has not blessed us with children at this time, but has blest us with a love for one another that only grows every day.We own a modest home in Eastern Nassau County. We enjoy being able to share our time with each other, and enjoy vacationing together. When we go on Vacation, we like to go someplace different each year.Prior to my marriage, I served as Founding Secretary-Treasurer of the Farmingdale Area Dart Association. In October of 2005 I became the third generation of my family to enter into the Columbian Order. In June of 2007, I was elected as the 48th Grand Knight of our St. Kilian (Farmingdale) Council and served two full one year terms.I remain happily married to Laura, who is the love of my life, as she always was.
School

received an academic accomplishment award in High School for my vocal accomplishments in Senior Chorale as well as being Vice President of the Student Government. It might also mention that I was MVP and Captain of my High School Indoor and Outdoor Track Teams my Senior year, as well as my State Championship in 1983.
Workplace
In high school I worked in a Supermarket and for a high powered sports lawyer. In college, I worked in the library,in fast food, and for the Student Government. After I left college, I worked as a messenger for a typesetting company,before hiring out on the rail road as a Coach Cleaner. I was promoted to Carman in November 1999, and to Acela maintenance in the position of Carman Technician in June 2004. I was Section Chairman of TWU Local 2001, an elected position that I held from April of 2000 to February of 2008. In January 2007 I was appointed Recording Secretary of Local 2001 of the TWU. In January 2008 I was appointed Secretary-Treasurer of TWU Local 2001 and was elected to full terms of office in November 2008, November 2011and November 2014. I was appointed Executive Vice President effective April 2015.
