Cumberland was a great school, and even though I was there a short time, met a lot of good people.
I Joined the Navy in 1986, spent 6 years being an electronics technician, traveled to India, Hong Kong, P.I., Singapore, Middle East, also took part in Desert Storm. Left the Navy in 1992, moved to Seattle, got into programming and have been a programmer ever since. In 1999, moved to New Hampshire (best place to live!), worked for OSDN/Slashdot. In August 2003, (greatest moment in my life!) I married my first girlfriend, Ruth Davis, from back in 1983 when I lived in Elma, WA.
For 3 years I was a senior software engineer for MySQL AB , having traveled to Finland, Germany, Czech, Italy, Malta, Mexico, Estonia, Sweden, Austria, UK, etc.

loper at Grazr Corp, a small start-up building a great feed management tool.
I also am part owner of a wireless Internet broadband provider, Radius North, who provides internet service to people who live in areas without DSL or Cable (such as myself).
I just started a job with Lycos Inc. as Principal Software Engineer which promises to be a great opportunity!
I also work on several software projects - DBD::mysql (Perl MySQL driver), FederatedX storage engine, MySQL Memcached Functions (UDFs), and Drizzle.
Currently, Ruth and I live in rural southwest New Hampshire, the Mt. Monadnock region. Life here is so tranquil and everything you'd want out of rural New England. We live on 12 acres on a road you could count the number of cars go by in a single day on your hands. We occasionally can see wildlife - Moose, Turkeys, Bear, Deer, Coyotes, Foxes, Fisher cats, etc. and lots of bugs in spring (black flies and mosquitoes).
Every season here is really distinct with fall being the most intense colors you've ever seen. Winter we get a good amount of snow (which I've always wanted in life) and I live 20 minutes from a great ski place.
