Patrick's Story
The last year that I was in Franklin, was a year of astounding events. I had crushes on many of you ladies in high school, but, me being a "rat", felt as though I was a nobody! It was also the year of "integration", and the gloom doom adults were way off base, as the students from Hayden, and the Franklin kids, all adjusted quite nicely to an adventure! k and roll was exploding, the times, they were a-changin', as Dylan wailed.
Smoked my first joint, kissed the first girl, had my first taste of tragedy through the suicide of our mother, and, that summer was sent far away to Yankee-land, to Wisconsin, and then Minnesota. I have to say, that was but the start of an incredible, but fulfilling path into forever! More later, if you want!
