Patrick's Story
Currently living in Trolley Square section of Wilmington, Delaware. Single and always open to relationship possibilities. Working out as much as possible in the form of as much swimming as time allows. Drop me a line sometime.
After high school, I attended West Virginia University for 2 years, then moved back home and worked for a year, and then enrolled at Widener University at the Chester campus, and finished my bachelor's in 3 years in Hotel/Restaurant Management. Intended to study Sociology at Widener and applied for that major as my first choice, but when I received my acceptance letter, was informed the Sociology major was being cancelled, which was a huge bummer for me. Since I had already been working in the Hospitality field, I had my second choice for a major for the Hotel school, so that's what I went for. After not swimming after O'Hara while at WVU, I returned to swimming for 2 of my years at Widener and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My main incentive for returning to swimming though was rather shallow, as the rules for backstroke flip turns changed dramatically and I wanted to see if indeed the new flip turns would in fact improve my previous times with the older flip turns by as much as it was reported about the new turns. t O'Hara) by almost 4 seconds, scoring at that meet in the consol finals, only 6 hours after swimming the mile (66 laps) of freestyle in the prelims earlier that day.....So it was very rewarding, refreshing and fun, since many of my former teammates from YMCA swimming growing up were on the Widener team while I was there......If only that flip turn for back had been changed while I was in high school, as the time I went at Widener would have qualified me for the YMCA nationals during my sophomore year swimming for the Y in Chester.....No big deal, as just dropping so much time of that event in college in just my first yr back after 4 yrs of no swimming, and not lifting weights at all while at Widener, it was pretty remarkable to me to have done so well in that event........
Spend as many weekends in the summer at my parents beach house in Bethany Beach, DE, even though some summers I can only get down twice or three times.....DE beaches are so fun, and the one thing I love most probably is that the boardwalks and such from Lewes down to Fenwick Island are nothing like Jersey shores towns, in that its much less commercial and no amusement parks like in Wildwood that to me take away from what a beach vacation should be, which is relaxation, quaint atmosphere, and not as many opportunities for families with kids to blow all their vacation money on frivolous entertainment instead of laying low and relaxing.
