Patrick's Story
Life
Hi gang. I'm back at Boeing (Frederickson) as an N/C machine maintenance electronic tech; got recalled 8/20/04 after a 2-year adventure on layoff. I have 3 kids B-30, G-26, G-22; the oldest dragged me kicking and screaming into grandpa-hood in May '09. Currently single. Well blessed; always healthy, mostly happy, usually humorous, frequently hopeful, occasionally horny, infrequently harried, seldom helpless, rarely homeless, never hopeless. No wrinkles, most of my hair, same gentle voice & vivid baby-blues. A few thrills; quading the sand dunes in New Zealand, diving with sharks. A few spills; broadsiding a horse at 60 mph, broken leg (skiing Crystal). A few chills; skinny-dipping in a half-thawed mountain lake, skinny-dipping in a glacial creek after soaking in Goldmyer Hot Springs (is there a pattern here?) Love to travel; Hawaii, Australia/NZ, Germany, London, Caribbean. Caught the sailing bug; Puget Sound, San Juans, racing in the Caribbean, a week island-hopping the Greek Dodecanese Isles. Life is great; I'm a wee bit eccent...Expand for more
ric but I like that about myself. I'm well balanced emotionally and mentally; I'm OFTEN in touch with my inner-adult. Favorite H.S. memories; T-P'ing teachers' houses our last semester, ping-pong in Mr.Breul's room, cruising the loop. I hope you've all been as well blessed as I feel I've been.
p.s. The first six photos and captions in my album should be viewed/read in reverse order.
UPDATE 08/'14:
I retired from Boeing in March of this year; not easy walking away from such a good job, pay and benefits. But with the loss of my friend/lead-man last year (auto crash), my perspectives/priorities changed. I bought a "snowbird" home in Apache Junction, AZ last year, and plan on splitting my time chasing the nice weather between Puyallup and there. I've been blessed to the next generation, with all three kids married, happy and productively engaged. Just one grandchild so far, but another arriving in February '15. I remember you all fondly, and hope you've been well blessed, too. I should be easy to find on FB, or an online search.
