Life
Hello from Patrick Owen, Class of 1978.
I am currently living in Nashville, Tennessee where I work for the TN Division of Vocational Rehabilitation as a VR Counselor. I help, aid, and assist individuals with physical or psychological disabilities to become eligible to receive education, training, and job placement services so they can go to work to become more effective and independent.
I also owned and ran a tobacco shop (Market St. Smoke Shop & The Cumberland Tobacco Co.) in NashvilleÂs Historic 2nd Avenue District from 1996-2006 but sold the business late last year. Yep, believe it or not, I finally took up smoking in 1989 but only pipes and cigars.

wns Goddess & The Moon; a gift shop here in Nashville. Her first book will be published by Willowtree Press in April 2007. She brought her three children into my life and I now have a five year old granddaughter, Sydney, who is the joy of my life.
I am a Freemason & officer of Corinthian Lodge No. 414 F&AM. I volunteer at several national & local history parks. I participate in Civil War re-enacting, travel, and (since I sold my shop) have begun to learn how to sail and play golf. Tish & I travelled to Mobile, AL in February this year for the opening of the Mardi Gras Festival.
I joined this network a couple of years ago but didnÂt really do much with it until recently when I had more time. I hope that you will write me and tell me about your life since Laurelwood High.
