Patrick's Story

Life After MHS, I spent 6 yrs. at NDSU studying pharmacy, graduating in 1971, followed by a year interning at Finney Drug in Bismarck. After several months of filling in at pharmacies in Medina and Gackle, mom & I bought the Glen Ullin Drug in Glen Ullin, ND where I spent 25 yrs as a pharmacist & a number of active years with the Jaycees. I retired in 1997 due to muscular dystrophy & in 1999 moved in with an adult foster care family and their children southeast of Apple Valley, 10 miles east of Bismarck. Nowdays, I spend a majority of my time creating fractal art and editing it with Photoshop and have a gallery on DeviantART and can be seen, commented upon or downloaded for use as computer backgrounds. Just google the website. One can visit my gallery by searching for patrx at the website. I even show up as such on Google. I've sold a couple of the prints and calendars of my fractals and fractal collages. High quality prints can also be purchased from the "store" at DeviantART, too...printed on archival museum photo paper...acid free and fadeproof. Recently, I've been printing some of my gallery images on card stock, for use as 5"x7" notecards. The inside and back are blank for writing one's messages. I ...Expand for more
hope I can find a market for them. I have a zip file available showing the 47 covers that are available for those that are interested. The rest of the time I'm often 'net surfing, playing games or chasing down the family genealogy on the 'net & can be found online every afternoon & early evening. I also do some volunteer work for the Clark Co. Wisconsin genealogy group editing pictures for their website, which makes them a bit sharper or a bit of touchup on damaged pictures. Besides the family that I live with, there are a a few mixed cat breeds, 4 dogs, a horses as well as a couple of cows & a mess of chickens at the place--quite a menagerie. Visitors are always welcome...don't get many, other than the nurses...B^) If you're going to be in the area, drop me an email and I'll send you a map to the place. Emails are answered promptly...I'm always here..LOL PS: For those of you that made it to our 40th Class reunion, I'm sorry that I missed it again this time....Ol' Murphy raised his ugly head and I spent the reunion at St. Alexis with a broken hip after being dumped out of my wheelchair. But I did have a few visitors that clued me in to those attending and tripped through memory lane in the yearbooks.
