Patrick's Story
I started going to Special School District in 1967. My first bus driver was Mrs. Powell. In the spring of 1970, I was on the jungle gym and I fell and broke my elbow. Dr. Richard Lord was the guy that repaired my elbow. They put me to sleep with gas. In those days, the gas masks they had back then were pretty heavy. I was one guy who never liked rock music or rap. sical, Mantovani and his orchestra, 101 Strings, and now Yanni. One of the field trips I liked was visiting Wonder Bread Bakery. The bakery had a tram that took visitors thru. I don't recall a narrator being onboard the tram. I graduated from Southview in 1982. My last school bus route was 190 and it was driven by Rusty. The school that Special operated that I graduated from was Southview.
