Patrick's Story
Life
Hello everyone. I left the navy in '92. I'm currently working in the San Francisco Bay Area as an assistant chief engineer and water chemistry engineer for the property management company, Jones Lang Lasalle. I'm part of the staff that maintains the power distribution and the physical plant for Bank of America at their Concord Technology Center site. I'm always looking for an opportunity to move back to Arizona, where eventually we plan to retire.
I'm married to a wonderful lady, Robin, and have two great step daughters, Maria and Jenny. This year Robin and I have become "empty nesters". Just us and the pets. Jen is in Kentucky. No more Scheiers left in Greenlee County, AZ. My parents moved to Houston, Texas. My brother, his wife, and their daughers live there, as well. Both my sisters are in Tempe.
Although I was fortunate to be able to take advantage of traveling the world while in the navy, I'm finally getting a chance to see as much of the US as I can. This includes a cruise Robin and I just completed inthe Caribbean. In a couple of years we are planning a scuba trip with my brother David and his wife Sheri, as well as my best friend Keith and his wife Donna. Keith and Donna have been diving before, but this will be a first for David and Sheri. If all goes well with scheduling, it will be one of the most fun trip I've been on.
