Patrick's Story
Hey all,
What's up? Some of you attended my marriage in November of 1988. Yep, that's right, I have been married to the same girl for 36 years this month. We are very happy and have two great kids. Since retiring from the Navy in 2016 we've stayed in Poquoson, VA and looks like we may just stay here permanently.
I'm currently working for a government contractor programming databases for the US Navy. I never thought I'd end up a programmer, but here I am!.
As some of you know I joined the US Navy after the summer of 1986. I did that for 30 years. I have been stationed all over the world, starting in California, both south...Expand for more
and north. Then I packed up the family and moved to Japan for about 6 years. Then Hawaii for 6 years and finally Virginia. It's been great.
I have been on many different types of ships and shore stations. If some of you remember me, you'll be surprised at what I have accomplished. I think my favorite time has been on the Aircraft Carrier, USS Kitty Hawk. We were stationed in Japan, but made numerous trips around the Pacific and Indian Oceans. My favorite port is probably Sydney Australia. It's a beautiful city. I retired from the U.S. Navy have 30 years in December 2016.
