Patrick's Story
My story is a bit weird. When I graudated I went to boot camp for the Navy and was there for the better part of 6 to 8 months for boot and advanced training. When I got out I was in the Reserve so I returned to civilian life, partied hard a lot and burn A LOT of bridges with friends, people I respected.
I have to be honest I regret most of my early adult life, but then when I was 22 years old I met someone who would change my life. I was living in Austin, TX and met a woman at work. Her name was Stacy, and I wound up marrying her a little more than 14 years ago. We are still married now. She has been my rock to steer me straight and become a good father and husband.
Anyway we have 2 children...Expand for more
a daughter who is 9 and a son who will be 2 in March. My external family has changed quiet a bit however.
My biological father was sent to prison about 4 years ago, and will likely die there. Trust me though he deserves his fate.
My step mother remarried and so my step brothers and step sister have a new step father, and while we are not close they are courteous and kind to me to contact me and to let me know how they are doing which I appreciate tremendously. I am just grateful my step mother found someone who truly makes her happy.
Anyway I'm 37 now, and working on my IT degree, and will be specializing in the ecomerce sector.
