Patrick's Story
Life
Well I was born in the Philippines came here when I was 15 years old. I lived in Iselin, New Jersey. I graduated from JFK Memorial High School on June 2001. I went to Berkeley College for a year majored in Network Management. I decided to join the Marines for the challenge and the experience. I was deployed last year to the western pacific region. I have been to Japan, Thailand, Guam, Australia had a real blast in Australia I would love to go back there again. I returned March 2004. I am going to Yuma, Arizona next month for Weapons and Tactics Instruction with my squadron. I work in the Maintenance Admin section of my squadron I work with aircraft logbooks and I work with different computer programs that are related with the F/A-18D. aufort, SC. I am going back to college soon after my regular job. I can't wait to begin my classes. I just returned from Yuma 2 weeks ago. Well I finally got promoted to corporal this september. I am excited cause that means more responsibilties for me and being in charge of the new marines coming into my workcenter.
Military
I enlisted in the Marine Corps on March 29, 2002 the day that my college friends and i were supposed to go to Cancun. I went to bootcamp August 5 ,2002. Graduated on November 22, 2002. Went MCT and then to A school in Meridian, MS for Maint Admin. I am stationed in Beaufort, SC. My first unit was MALS-31 and I got orders to VMFA(AW)-332 Moonlighters. I went on Westpac on Sept 2003 returned home March 2004 had a blast during deployment for the most part in Australia.
