Almost as soon as I graduated I headed of for adventures upon the high seas in the Navy. It didn't take me long to figure out that the biggest adventure in the Navy was trying to get out of the Navy. I met my then-wife, Angie, while stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. We have been blessed with two beautiful girls, Kyla and Chelsea as well as a handsome young man, Nathaniel. I got out (yes, honorably) in 1994 and we moved to Angie's home in North Carolina. The landscapes there are breathtaking but there are no jobs that pay enough to survive so.....here we are again back in the Austin area.

rce in 2000, a marriage in 2006 :) What a great God we have to help keep our lives interesting! I am in the process of adopting my step-sons. My three biological children live with their mom, but when we are all together, five children is a hoot!

Since 2006 I have been the Scoutmaster for the Boy Scout Troop at my Church. We've grown from 4 boys at the start to 12 at present.

Family reboot! Five wasn't enough, so now I have 12 and a 6-year-old boy at home. Still enjoying the outdoors, but now through Trail Life USA instead of Boy Scouts (which no longer exists). Moved out into the country on 22 beautiful acres raising sheep and chickens.
