Patsy's Story
Life
I was born Patricia Ann Wade in 1951. I went all 12 years to Sweet Springs Schools. Then I started at CMSU in Warrensburg only to drop out after a semester and a half. I later attended State Fair Community College in Sedalia, and graduated from there in 1974. Then I re-attended CMSU, and graduated there with a degree in Distributive Education (referred to as Marketing Education now) in 1976. I taught 6 years in the Vocational School and at the college level at State Fair Community College. I had a daughter named Enola Ellen Bell in 1978. I moved to Moberly, Missouri in 1981, where I still reside. I taught for 13 years at Moberly Area Community College in Marketing. I also went back to Warrensburg to receive my Master's Degree in 1984. In 1987. I had another daughter named Roseanna Marie Christal. I taught one year at a Christian Academy. ak from teaching, and I worked for an agency called Advent out of Columbia, MO and served as the office manager here in Moberly for them. Then, I worked for Better Choices in Moberly as a substance abuse counselor for one year. Next, I worked for Home Care of Mid-Missouri, part-time. Next, I worked for one year as a counselor at the Vandalia prison for women. As it was quite a drive from Moberly, I said yes when offered a job to teach business on the middle school and high school levels at Madison. As I like middle school age better, I applied and got a teaching job in business/computers in the Middle School in Moberly, where I still am. In 1999, I married Robert Wiseman from Slater and we reside here in Moberly. My older daughter lives in Columbia and my younger one is a junior in high school. As I have taught 25 years, I am considering retirement in 4 to 7 years = no more than 7!!
