I had a major life changing event when I lost my husband - Alex - July 27, 2002 to a massive heart attack. We had been married for 23 years. I worked at the Donalsonville Hospital Women and Children's Center as the head nurse for an OB/GYN Doctor for 5 years and left there in December 2007. I presently work at a local privately owned Pharmacy as a DME Representative. I have now been there for almost 2 years. I handle the insurance and billing, selling and ordering the equipment and public relations with doctors offices. My oldest son - Heath - is 22 years old as of March 2010. He attended The University of Georgia for 2 years, but college was not what he wanted to pursue, so he came home for a while. He has joined the Marines and waiting to be shipped out to bootcamp in August. He will arrive in Paris Island, South Carolina on August 30th, 2010. His choice not his Mom's choice!! My youngest son - Garrett - is 20 years old as of January 2010. He attends The University of Georgia and will be starting his Junior year this fall 2010. He is a member of the Theta Chi and Alpha Epsilon Delta Fraternities. His major is Biology. He is pursuing a Medical Degree and plans to become a surgeon.
