Life Single,, living in Birmingham, AL...the beautiful south! Haven't been back to Portage since HS except to visit my mother. If I ever decide to leave here, I will relocate to Richmond, VA. My mother is now living in Richmond with my sister - due to health issues,she is no longer able to live alone. I have raised three wonderful children. The oldest is a missionary to Mexico. Second graduated with a DM in Medical Sonography. She is also the mother of my two beautiful grandchildren. (Spoiling them is so much fun!) Then my third is an 'entertainment industry' hopeful! but working in management side of the food industry, but no, he doesn't ask, "would you like fries with that?"...LOL. I have been a member of the same church for 32 years now. Have been activly involved for many years in the choir and drama ministries as well as teaching Sunday School classes in the Singles Ministry. Always thought I would teach, just thought it would be in a school system somewhere! When I was a little girl, I always dreamed of dancing with Fred Astaire. Well, I almost got my chance...I did take Ballroom dancing from his studio here locally and loved it. My friends all say I was pretty good at it! Don't think I will quit my day job though and I'm sure you will never see me on Dancing with the Stars..But, this was another tick off of my 'bucket list'! College Met and married my "ex" in the second year....never went back to finish. Big Mistake!!! Had fun meeting all of the people. (Have reconnect...Expand for more
