Patty's Story
Life after High School...
I went to St. Louis Community College,
Florissant Valley and earned a Associate
Degree in Early Childhood. I got married
in 1982 and had two beautiful daughters,
that were born in 1988 and 1993. I taught preschool until I had my first daughter and then became a stay home mom. I was ( still am) very involve with the girl's schools(PTA,Room Parent,
Child Advocate)...Expand for more
. I was diagnose with
fallopian cancer in 2003. I had a surgery
to remove it and was really lucky that
I didn't have to go through cancer treatments. I am involved with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
After 14 years I have rejoined the crazy work force again. I am a teacher. I don't know what is harder..
volunteering or teaching! Well. that's my life since leaving Berkeley.
