Pat's Story
Life
As we celebratED our 50th wedding anniversary in 2007, we realizeD how good God has been to us. Our son Nick and his wife Robin gave two wonderful grandsons. Robert, 28, was active USAF for 6 years and Nevada Air Guard for 2 years - he and Emily have 2 little girls. Ava, born in March 2007 and Audrey born in May, 2008. Robert owns a body art studio to support his family while he attends college on his veterans' benefits; Matt is an electrician for the gold field mines working on monstrous equipment - he and Naomi have a son, Vance born February 2006 and a daughter, Nataleigh, born in September, 2008. That half of our family live in Imperial/El Centro. Our son Karl and his wife Meri have blessed us with Brynn, age 10, Makelle age 7 and Tyler age 5. 1-800-GRANDMA caused us to refurbish our home of 41 years and move to Pleasant View UT just 2 miles away from Karl and crew.

locale. We are active in our church, Canyon Road Assembly of God and Newcomer's Club. Through Newcomer's we volunteer with American Cancer Society's Relay For Life and vision screening for preschoolers and 5th-6th graders. Bill drives for Hertz Rental and Sales, part-time throughout Northern Utah, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana - all of his driving buddies are retired with nothing better to do.
College
My only regret is not finishing my degree.
Workplace
Burn-out after upteen years of accounting - both private and public.
Became licensed insurance agent - hated selling.
Hospice Volunteer Coordinator for several years - very rewarding.
After 12 years of volunteerism with American Cancer Society became paid staff community educator for 5 years. During that time BUHS Class of '57 had Relay for Life Teams for a couple years, remembering and honoring our classmates who had suffered this dread disease.
Too busy now to be bothered with a job.
