Patzi's Story
Was assistant director of nursing for the OR at North shore university hospital from 97 to 2005 then a drunk orthopedist blew the light and rear ended me into the ambulance bringing in the trauma I was going in for had total of nine surgeries over the next few years couldn't cont my job it was 80 percent clinical and 60 hrs a week I loved it had to go out on disability depressed moved by my sister to of all places buffalo ugh my BFF another OR nurse gave me a puppy for com...Expand for more
panionship I met the veterinarian an old dude who was so sarcastic an ex new yawker I loved it soon he shaved off the beard he wasn't that old and we were engaged I have fybromyalgia and that sucks but I met a great guy married him all my girls from st Ginny's came it was great I'm happy I feel at peace I miss nursing so I do volunteer work with the dog at Roswell big cancer hospital up here when I can things are good I hope everyone else had a fulfilling nursing career too
