Paul's Story
Life
After attending college in PA., I became a Biochenist for USDA and later Smith Kline,and French, in Phila. PA. Fortunately, I was recruited by a recruiting firm-and became a technical recruiter.
Was later recruited to Pgh., PA and helped open 4 different recruiting offices.
In 1969, was recruited by a New York firm to relocate to San Francisco and open an office for them. WOW! what a transition!
In 1974, was recruited by a Human Resources Client to expand his Professional Recruiting division. After opening two offices PLUS convering the business to fully retained, I finally started my own (fully retained) executive seach practice.

rried in 1981, (divorced years later) and had two terrific children-Son =Heath, is in Santa Barbara, as a marketing manager for a SW firm, after he grad UCSB. My daughter, Ashley, afer graduating UCSD, got recruited by Billie Jean King to move East and join her Women in Sports, non profit= to be their Event Coordinator (in New York.)
She now works for a sports marketing firmion NY and does triathalons.
Am still running my own retained only high technology search practice-looking for "C" level execs, playing LOTS of tennis, golf and hopefully, SCUBA diving.
Just got another Irish Setter and started showing her.
Would enjoy hearing from anyone from DHS 1960 grads.
