Paul's Story

Life BSEE from UT Austin finally in 1973! Worked for Tracor in Austin. Married my secretary in 1973. Still married and three kids later. Moved to New Orleans and worked for Bell Aerospace, then for Computer Sciences Corp. Moved to Houston in 1978 to work for Schlumberger. Four years later moved to Austin - Retired from Schlumberger after 28 years....Expand for more
Kids are grown and married. Two Grandsons 1998 and 2004. Wife, Gayle likes the hot beaches of Florida and I like the cool mountains of Colorado, so we'll probably end up right here in Austin or maybe back in San Antonio. My Mom lives in Cedar Park and we enjoy visitng her frequently. Yes, I am Santa every December for Cub Scouts and at my church.

Lincoln came over to play with Grandpa's trains last night. Took some coaching, but Diane Calmes got him to put on Grandpa's UT sock hat. He's a sweetie!

Kids can run a train for 10 minutes for a $5 donation to our club. We'll have a Lionel Thomas Remote Control Train set ($200 retail value) in a $5 per ticket raffle.
