Paul's Story
Upon graduating from IHC in 1974; I attended SUNY Canton, and then Assumption College, where I graduated with a BA History degree in 1979. While at Assumption, I played 2 sports, football and lacrosse, and met my wife, Karen. We married in 1981, and have two children, Jessica, who received her PhD from the Brody School of Medicine, East Carolina University, and Adam, who graduated from from Western Carolina University. f Lt Colonel (1979). I spent the major portion of my Air Force career buying aircraft systems and services for the military. I was selected as the Air Force Outstanding Officer in Contracting in 1994, and received a Vice Presidential Hammer Award from the Secretary of Defense in 1996. Upon retiring from the Air Force in 1999, I began working for RTI International as a Subcontracts Manager, and now serve as the Senior Director, Contract and Export Compliance. I still enjoy running and working out 4-5 days a week, and love living in North Carolina.
