Paul's Story
My mother took piano lessons and played in church in the 1960's so I became interested in music.
I got a plastic guitar for Christmas one year. I didn't like it so I told my father that I wanted a real guitar. 1975: We got one. My father bought me some books and I learned how to play. My oldest book is copyrighted 1934, Spanish guitar.
1977: I played electric bass in church from 1977 to 1994. My bass was damaged in the flood so I quit. Started learning the banjo.
1979: Ukulele time.
1980: I inherited a 1929 violin that was played in the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in the 193...Expand for more

2007: Played guitar at Pat's Place 8 times. Relearned the banjo. Started
playing bass again as the Official Brickyard Plantation bass player.
2008: I played bass all over South Georgia. I would like to call myself the bass player of South Georgia. I also started learning the standup bass, mandolin, dobro, alto saxophone, and to play the left handed guitar right handed.
2009: Played mandolin at Cafe Campesino. Learning the soprano recorder, steel guitar, and to play the right handed bass left handed.
2010: Bass player of the WORLD?
