Ruth's Story
I have stayed in the Indianapolis, IN area since graduating from high school. I was married to a wonderful man for 21 years. He was killed in an automobile accident at the age of 41, in 1988. He was a Speedway Fireman. We have 5 children, 4-boys and 1-girl. I had to finish raising the children on my own, We lived and raised our family in Pittsboro, IN, right outside of Brownsburg. I retired in 2012 from The Indiana State Police (Commercial Vehicle Division) after 21 years. I was a secretary in the Safetynet Data.
Needless to say since graduating in 1966 life has been quite challenging and interesting. I had a brother, Steve Ayers, he also went to Washington High School (Class of 64). He passed away in "2003". We went to Stephen Foster Elementary School #67.
