Paul's Story
Hello fellow "Immacu lattes"!!
Hope the years have been good to all of you.
After I left Immac in 1967, I went to USL, just barely avoided getting drafted to Vietnam, joined an honest to goodness rock n' roll band (The Penny Arcade), worked myself through college, and graduated with a degree in Business Management. At USL, I got married in my senior year, was accepted to Tulane University in New Orleans. After 2 grueling years, I graduated with a Masters Degree in Hospital Administration, worked in the hospital industry for 6 long years. Didn't care for it that much. Ended up in Houston, I made a career change in 1981 into the Private Security industry. Have been in Houston ever since. Still play a lot of guitar, I have too many guitars, really, but that's to be expected from a musician at heart. My 1st marriage lasted 19 years, I since remarried have been marriede now for 15 years and ...Expand for more
am glad to say that even a fool like me can get lucky and find a wonderful European girl who loves me and my guitars! Susan is from Hungary and she is a gem, my favorite Hungarian souvenir! Yes, she is a great cook. I am now a grandfather for the 1st time from my wife's daughter Carine. My grandson's name is Dean he is almiost 6 months old and he is a precious and lovely child. I am currently between jobs right now, being caught in the economic downturn with a position being eliminated. I am currently weathering that storm as well as I can expect. My wife is a career woman and that helps out. All in all, I stay positive. That's may basic nature. I think often of my Immaculatta days. They were very formative to my life and values. Would be pleased to hear from the fellow that remember me. I see or talk to Jerry Dupuy here in Houston quite a bit. Keep the Faith and remember to take the Fifth.
