Paul's Story
Life
After graduating from Rhode Island
School of Design in I moved to Japan in
1976. I studied Japanese Shakuhachi
classical music for ten years with
grand master Katsuya Yokoyama.I
currently reside in Nagano, site of the
1998 Winter Olympics right between 2
snow capped alpine mountain ranges. I
have two little children, boys age Ray

nd Sean 3. I own hearth products
import and marketing company. I enjoy
mountain climbing, snowshoing and
skiing, outdoor camping and working in
my garden. Although the say the economy
is bad here it hasn't affected me.
Living in Japan has been good, but I do
miss the contact with friends from back
