Paul's Story
After high school, I fled Northern Virginia for 1 year at Clinch Valley College. I returned to finish an Associates Degree in Business Administration from NVCC. I transferred to George Mason University and finished my Bachelors Degree in History. I worked full time and went to school part time. In 1995 I married my long time sweetheart Vasiliki Via Paraskevas (WPHS 1988). We bought a house in Kings Park West in Fairfax. After 5 years and a career change we decided to move out west. gings and moved to Grants Pass, Oregon. We drove up in the UHaul on Tatiana's 1st birthday in 2002. I found work right away and Via stayed home with the kids. Within a few months we built a home and had Annalise (2003). I was laid off for the 5th time in my life. So Via and I decided to start our own business - Knobs-Etc.com. In 2004 we added onto our home and added Elena. We miss some of our friends back east, but nothing else. Life out west is so much more relaxed and joyful.
