Paul's Story

My wife Kay and I are now living in Pueblo, Colorado. After a 32 year management career with JCPenney, I changed careers to Project Manager of Radio Frequency Coordination for the Association of American Railroads at MxV Rail of Pueblo. I graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 1979 with a management degree, and immediately began working in management for JCPenney. I started in Wisconsin Rapids WI, then on to Iron Mountain MI, Rhinelander WI, Baraboo WI, and Tullahoma TN. My final position with them was Store Manager of the Tullahoma store. My son Brad graduated with a Master of Aerospace degree from Middle Tennessee State University and works as an Aircraft Dispatch Supervisor for Southwest Airlines in Dallas,...Expand for more
TX. My daughter Jenna received her Masters degree in Speech Pathology from NOVA Southeastern University and is a Speech Pathologist in Nashville, TN. She married Michael Espy and they are expecting a baby in June, 2024 (our first grandchild!). My father Roy passed away in 2010 and my mother Edith passed away in 2011. I have 2 brothers living in Minnesota, 1 brother in New Hampshire, and a sister in Texas. Kay and I are enjoying life in Colorado. We love to travel, and have done so extensively through Colorado and 44 of the states. Even though we have been away from Wisconsin for many years, we have not switched our allegiance from the Packers and Badgers! My expected retirement date is March 31, 2025.
