Paul's Story
After Marist I attend the UO, graduating in 1984 (married in '82) and moving to Portland where I lived from '84-'04 and worked in design consulting; adopting two children from India along the way. I attended Harvard grad school in '87; and then formed my own consulting firm in '89 which I sold in '99 to a large firm and led a division for them until '07 from Washington, DC. firm until the summer of 2011 when I took an appointment to deputy secretary of the NC DOT, where I served until mid-2013. I left there and am now living in Atlanta, GA where I laed the Atlanta BeltLine, Inc., a community redevelopment corporation. Over the years, I've traveled widely and gathered great experiences along the way. Laverna is still a nurse and now working in hospice care. My son Ketan is back in Eugene wrapping up his associate degree at LCC. My daughter Sophie is a sophomore in high school.
