Paul's Story
Spent most of my adult life in the Navy. 32 years before deciding to make it a career and then retired. During my Navy career I was assigned to a number of ships and commanded a Tomahawk Strike Destroyer as well as an Aegis Cruiser. Having spent 22 years of my career at sea allowed me to travel to a significant number of countries and explore many many cultures. Participated in too many wars, starting in Vietnam and ending with the Global War on Terrorism. were being traded for arms by Al Queda. I was also involved in the transitioning of several Eastern European countries (formerly part of the Soviet bloc) into newly formed democracies. After retiring to Honolulu I started an electrical engineering company specializing in Homeland Security surveillance systems. Have enjoyed my life and waiting to retire again so I can continue traveling, scuba diving and spearfishing around the Pacific. I think often of my high school friends and the times we spent riding motorcycles (which I still do) and camping in the desert
