Military
Hi Everyone. I enjoyed my time in the military. In the Army I went to basic training at Ft. Leonardwood MO., AIT at Ft.Sill OK., and then on to Ft.Lewis WA., where I was with A Battery 3rd Batallion 34th Field Artillary, 9th Infantry Division. After the Army I went into the Navy. Boot Camp at San Diego CA, A School at Great Lakes, then on to West Pac on the USS Haleakala that I boarded in Taiwan. After The Haleakala I was on the USS Kilauea for 2 West Pacs and an Indian Ocean deployment, until 1980. I left the Kilauea as an Electricians Mate Petty Officer 3rd Class. My next station was in Pearl Harbor Hawaii where worked with NIS and I was promoted to Electricians Mate Petty Officer Second Class. I enjoyed my time in the military for the most part. It gave me good experiences and confidence to use the rest of my life and was fun at times too. My experiences in the military motivated me to enter law enforcement where I spent my civilian career until retirement which I enjoy very much!
