Paul's Story
Good evening. It has been a long time. I hope everyone is doing well. As for my brother and I, we are doing OK. I am living in Colorado now with my fiance. She is helping me through a rough time. I am going through a divorce, and I am really greatful to her for helping me through this.
I am a Marine Corps Veteran, serving only four years. Not only did I serve here in the United States, but also served in Japan, and did two deployments to Beirut, Lebanon as well as a brief stint off the Coast of Grenada. My brother Sam, served 10 1/2 years in the Marine Corps, and 9 1/2 years in the National Guard, with two of those years in the Army. He was medically retired after a tour in Afghanistan. Some of you might know my brother and I, from being a team mate while we ran Cross Country. My brother also ran Track. We also use to live in Tennessee, before completing our education at Hubbard High. But we are originally from Chicago, and moved to Tennessee at a early age, but my brother and I did not...Expand for more
like it there, so we moved back during our Jr. Year. Everyone there at Hubbard made us feel welcomed, and we absolutely enjoyed our last two years there. It would probably have been more better if it was not for the Teachers Strike, and problems at our apartment with my parents being at each other forcing us to go through independent study to complete our requirements for credits so we could get our Diplomas, which we did. We also had a great going away party, and some of our Classmates attended. Great time. My brother, and I are probably the only ones in our families that could say we graduated three times within a year. High School, graduation from Boot Camp to become Marines, and then from our respected Occupation Schools. He was with Aviation Supply, and I became a Cook for the Infantry. Which we call these Riflemen, Grunts. Thank you all for reading my story. If anyone like to learn more about what I am doing now, please feel free to contact me. Have a great evening, and a goodnight.
