Paula's Story
Life
Denny and I were married at St. Philomena Church. We have raised 3 children, Jenni and Justine. Jeff and his wife Renee' have two kids, Marissa and Nicholas. They live in Twinsburg, Ohio. Our daughter Jenni and her husband Trevor were married in October of 05, also at St. Phil's. Our youngest daughter, Justine, graduated this past May from Baldwin Wallace College. With all of the kids graduated from college, two of them married and Justine now in her own apartment, Denny and I are adjusting to being without any kids in the house for the first time in over 30 years! It is quite an adjustment.
I am a Holistic Healthcare Practitioner. I do all sorts of complementary healing techniques. I am a labor and birth doula, work with hospice patients and have a home practice for clients with chronic conditions. Ohio. We love our home. It was a good place to raise our children. I remember my years at St Phil's with great fondness. As a matter of fact, we rejoined the parish a year before Jenni's wedding. After going to the church to check it out and get things rolling on Jenni and Trevor's wedding, we knew it was where we wanted to be. Fr. Dennis is a fabulous pastor and I still see Sr. Aileen who attends the 4 oclock mass each SAturday. I talked to Fr. Rowe the other day, who left the priesthood ages ago and lives in Texas. He sounds wonderful. I guess as I get older, I find it kind of nice to reconnect with old friends and have really been enjoying doing that! We are all enjoying going down memory lane and have been finding out what other classmates are doing with their lives. It has been fun. Some even attend St. Phil's also.
