Paula's Story

Life Hello everyone! Wow! Life has been interesting and it is amazing of all the turns it can take. Currently I am back in school going for my Accounting degree. Well, I had my addy here, but I guess I am not supposed to do that. Let me see, I guess I could say more about what has actually happened in my life since high school. Hmmmm...... I have had 3 children. 2 boys and 1 girl, with my youngest being 16 now. (Man, do I remember those days...lol) And for some reason, the older I become, the dumber I become (If you have children, especially teenagers, you understand this comment) I was married to the best guy around for 23 years (He passed Jan '07 with pancreatic cancer) And now, I am working part-time at a college library and attending school full-time (plus I do some tutoring and volunteer at my church). Through the years, I have done lots of volunteer...Expand for more
work, like Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, 4-H, neighborhood associations, and working within the homeschool community. (Yes, my poor children were homeschooled most of their school careers....one has graduated and in college, the other is in public school for high school, more because time for me to help him has became an issue than anything) And sometime in there I dedicated my life, heart and soul to my savior, Jesus Christ. So, that is my life in a nutshell. Not very exciting...and full of ups and downs...but my life still the same and I am very proud of it. I have made some wonderful friends and have met some great people. So, I guess, all in all, my life has been good! Funny, how when you look at your life like this....the bad things don't seem so bad...and mostly you see all the good things that have happened. So, I guess my nut wasn't rotten after all ;-)
